We’re pleased to announce a new course at our Training Centre. This time, it is designed for service technicians and rolling stock maintenance staff who want to carry out technical servicing of the radios we manufacture. It marks the next step in the Centre’s development: having prepared train drivers to operate GSM-R equipment, we are now turning our attention to the people who keep that equipment reliable.
A fully functioning radio is essential to the safe and uninterrupted operation of any rail vehicle. For operators, skilled and well-trained maintenance teams mean shorter downtime, lower costs and greater control over the condition of their own fleet.
The programme combines the requirements of the technical documentation with the hands-on expertise of the specialists who service Koliber cab radios every day. Participants will learn how the radio is built and how its functional modules work, before being guided step by step through a maintenance inspection, including completing the inspection form and taking the required measurements. They will also learn the principles and methods for checking and measuring VHF and GSM-R antenna systems. Diagnostics and basic servicing tasks form a key part of the course.
The sessions are highly interactive. On completion, every participant will be able to carry out essential servicing tasks independently, correctly and safely.
Given the practical nature of the course, sessions are held in small groups of no more than six people. The course is delivered in Polish.
Radionika warmly invites interested organisations to get in touch and book a date.
